Sports .. Clubs & Teams
The pursuit of physical fitness through participation
in athletics has become increasing popular. What's your sport? Hiking?
Cycling? Mountain biking? There may be a group of people in this church
who share your interest and who have formed a club to pursue it together.
You may find a club to be an ideal way to connect with unchurched friends
. . . and to give those friends an up-close-and-personal look at their
Christian faith in a wonderfully non-threatening way.
Pathfinders
Hiking Group
"Winding paths shall be straightened
and rough ways made smooth." - Luke 3:5
The Christ-centered Pathfinders hiking group enjoys spending time outdoors appreciating God's beautiful creativity in nature. We generally provide two hiking activities. (1) From March through September, we hike each Thursday evening in the Chino Hills or Coyote Hills. The hiking routes we select are generally around 4 miles, and vary in difficulty from easy to moderate. These hikes are open to adults, teenagers, and children (provided they can handle gentle hills). (2) Throughout the year, we have a full schedule of day hikes on Saturdays. These day hikes are usually 5-12 miles in length, and range from easy/moderate to strenuous.

Freewheelers Cycling Club

Our goal is to provide a connection for cyclists for informal bicycle rides. Currently most of our road rides are on Monday or Friday mornings and we vary the length and difficulty to accommodate cycling abilities. Family rides are occasionally planned on weekends or school holidays.
If you are interested in joining our group or have questions, please call either John Buchholz mobile# (714.814.0688) or Jon Ingebrigtsen mobile# (714.743-8552).
Ev Free FreeWheeler cycling club maintains a list that we use to provide notices of pending rides. Please e-mail or if you are interested in being placed on our email list.
