Children .. Kidcheck

Children’s Ministry at EVFree is excited about using KidCheck as the next step in security and convenience for our families.

What is KidCheck?

KidCheck is an electronic check-in system that will be used at EVFree to expedite check in procedures when your child attends a Children’s Ministry function at the church. This system will provide added security while your child is at church and eliminate the need to fill out unnecessary forms.

Why KidCheck?

The Children’s Ministry staff desires to keep our ministry environments safe! We have chosen KidCheck since it allows us to know important information about your child at a glance - like allergy information – and also helps us track each child’s whereabouts while they are on our campus. It helps us shepherd your child, and allows our team to better connect with families.

Why Will Parents Like It?

Parents enjoy full control over their account. You can provide as much information about your child as you desire. This includes medical information, how you can be reached in an emergency and which members of your family may pick up your children from their classroom. 

Once you’ve created your account, checking in is easy.  You can use your ten-digit telephone number or we will give you an ID card (similar to a grocery discount card), which will bring up your account on one of our conveniently located KidCheck stations. With a click of the mouse your children are all checked in and ready for class. Once you have checked in, a nametag and a corresponding claim check will print out for all of your children. You will get one receipt with all your children listed. And if Mom and Dad each want a receipt, KidCheck can print you a duplicate.  

There are check in stations located near the children’s areas on the main campus for your convenience. We also have helpers at the check in stations available to answer any questions you may have, or to help you create an account on your first visit with us.

Creating a KidCheck Account

Creating a KidCheck account is fast, easy and free! You can add your kids and guardians, update new information, and even upload photos of yourself, your kids and your guardians to make it easy for your childcare provider to identify them.  The KidCheck information is kept safe by a series of firewalls, both through EVFree and the KidCheck server, so your information is safe and secure.  

• Go to https://go.kidcheck.com/signin.aspx?register = (do not type www).
• Select “I am a parent and want to create a free account.”
• Fill in the requested fields and click on "Register."
• Agree to the license agreement. You will then be directed to the "Setup Your Account" page.
• Click  “Save.” You will then be directed to the "My Account" page.
• Click on each of the tabs listed on the "My Account" page and complete the information.

"My Profile." This is the information you just entered. You may return to this page to update information at any time.

"My Kids." This is where you will input your child’s information and upload photos if you wish.  Click "Add a Child" to enter your child. Remember to click "Save Changes" when you are done!

"My Guardians." This is where you will input your spouse and list additional guardians (friends or relatives you wish to authorize to pick up your children) and upload photos. Just click “Add a Guardian" to enter their information, and  remember to click "Save Changes" when you finish.

• Your account is complete!

When you check-in for the first time, use your 10-digit home or cell phone number associated with your account.
