Baptism

We believe that baptism is the public display of a private commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and we offer regular opportunities for baptism as part of the life of our church. As a matter of fact, our Statement of Faith encourages:

“Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.”

Baptism is regularly scheduled in all worship services, occasionally on our plaza, and even at the beach!

Our next baptism is scheduled for Sunday, August 29 in the worship center during both worship services. Those who wish to participate must attend the baptism class on Sunday, August 15 in NC130/131 from 11:00 a.m.–noon. Sign-ups for the class will be on Sundays, July 25, August 1 and August 8 at the Baptism tables on the Plaza.
